Mind you this crafty DIY stuff is so not me – with the exception of reinventing furniture. I am usually not up for making anything except food, but I found this post at www.tipjunkie.com and thought it was adorable!

1. DIY Paint Swatch Chandelier ~ This ombre patterned chandelier is gorgeous! Can you believe it’s made of paint swatches? Grab your paper punch and get punching. I think any color you choose would be just as fabulous as this pink one.
2. Butterfly Speciman Art ~ These dimensional butterflies are amazing! And, it’s incredibly inexpensive to make. Lowe’s free paint swatches. Check. Foam mount stickers. Check. Cardboard insert. Check.
3. Paint Chip Placecards ~ These place cards are very creative, simple and of course, cheap! They also add a fun colorful zest to the table setting. Change the color of the paint chip and they would be perfect for any occasional dinner party.
4. Paint Sample Coasters ~ For simple and colorful coasters simply mod-podge paint swatches to them. Perfect for gift giving. Since you saved so much on the coasters you could pair it with a cool mug and hot cocoa mix.
5. Paint Chip Magnets ~ If you don’t already have pantone chips you’re going to want to get some to make your own “candy” magnets. Adhere them to cardboard cut to size and finish them off with paper glaze. These were used on filing cabinets, but I think they would be fantastic on a refrigerator to help your children learn their colors.
6. Paint Chip Notebooks ~ What an ingenious idea to make a notebook shaped as a matchbook. Only 5 sheets of regular white paper was used to make each one. Pair it with a fabulous pen and they would be the perfect gift for teachers, friends, neighbors, bosses, co-workers and friends.

7. Paint Chip Bookmarks ~ Create your own bookmark by simply punching a hole in the paint chip and adding embroidery thread. Add a cute bead or button to the end of the thread. Or, you could even add a tassel.
8. Paint Chip Teacher Gift {Back to School} ~ Paint chips are also perfect for tags or wrapping gifts. Simply wrap them around a bundle of pencils and tie it with a pretty ribbon or twine.

16. Star Spangled Paint Chip Banner {Pennants} ~ Using paint chips from your local hardware store and some string you will be able to create a cute banner. Perfect to decorate over the 4th of July or any patriotic holiday! Easy, very close to free and cute!
