18 Things to Make With Paint Chips!

Mind you this crafty DIY stuff is so not me – with the exception of reinventing furniture. I am usually not up for making anything except food, but I found this post at www.tipjunkie.com and thought it was adorable!

Create a beautiful ombre effect using your local hardware stores free paint chip samples.  Talk about gorgeousthings to make with paint chips like chandeliers, bookmarks, magnets, earrings, necklaces, and even paint chip artfor your walls.

1.  DIY Paint Swatch Chandelier ~ This ombre patterned chandelier is gorgeous!  Can you believe it’s made of paint swatches?  Grab your paper punch and get punching.  I think any color you choose would be just as fabulous as this pink one.

2.  Butterfly Speciman Art ~ These dimensional butterflies are amazing!  And, it’s incredibly inexpensive to make.  Lowe’s free paint swatches.  Check.  Foam mount stickers.  Check.  Cardboard insert.  Check.

3.  Paint Chip Placecards ~ These place cards are very creative, simple and of course, cheap!  They also add a fun colorful zest to the table setting.  Change the color of the paint chip and they would be perfect for any occasional dinner party.

4.  Paint Sample Coasters ~ For simple and colorful coasters simply mod-podge paint swatches to them.  Perfect for gift giving.  Since you saved so much on the coasters you could pair it with a cool mug and hot cocoa mix.
